Ok, this whole flipper debate is getting out of hand. making the flipper look more like a hand, by adding a sort of thumb, is going against everything this edit stands for. You can clearly see the shape of his flipper (although its actually moor like a hoof) in the wide shots of Ponda standing at the bar. Changing the shape of the hoof so it looks like he could hold a gun will not be happening in my edit. If i was to do that then i might as well leave in the wolfman hand because both would be incorrect to the actual costume used in filming. There shouldn't even be a gun there in the first place because Ponda never drew his blaster, he was just caught up in the swing of the lightsaber. I'm redoing the texture of the hoof now and should be ready in about 3 days when its dry. Logically a real hand would look better as it is Evazan that is seen drawing his blaster. What i am going to do is films both shots. one of the hoof and one with Evazan's arm and sleeve then put whichever one i think looks best in the final DVD Version and i will put the other as a special feature so it can be edited in to suit peoples taste with ease if they want to do their won version.

As for the shadowing then there are 2 light sources as has been mentioned before. if there was just one coming from the bottom then the shadowing on the original would be wrong. The shadow in NormanS version is almost correct but the shadow is way too long.

The shot of the falcon entering hyperspace after the TIE battle was changed at the last minute. i decided we didn't need to see it going to hyperspace because Vader informs us straight after anyway. i just haven't got around to changing it in the list
