Part of me has to wonder, though, if Sunshine has developed something of the same reputation as Super Mario World sometimes gets (although much less now) following a hugely innovative game. Super Mario World was criticized for not pushing it much farther than its universally renowned predecessor, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Miyamoto states that he wishes he'd gotten to do more with it... that he felt rushed, and that it wasn't as good a game as he thought it could have been. Of course, most people find it a game of high regard, and I honestly don't see anything lacking in it at all. But those statements seem to be echoed quite a bit in Sunshine, following the highly revolutionary SM64, with similar comments from Miyamoto. I guess time will tell how Sunshine will be viewed in the future, although I honestly don't see it as ever being held as highly as SMW is.

But I've never played either Jak and Dakster or Ratchet and Clank, so, sadly, I really can't relate to those statements.
