I always thought Stairway to Heaven was overrated but now that I've listened to it again I realize how beautiful the lyrics are.

Tombstone Blues - Bob Dylan, Highway 66 Revisited. Dylan is the greatest American artist IMO.

The Who - Live at Leeds

Arguably the greatest live album ever recorded.

Right now, listening to High Contrast's Essential Mix. Wonderful.

The Who - Quadrophenia

I think The Who may now be my second favorite band (first being Pink Floyd).

Manic Street Preachers - Your Love Alone Is Not Enough

Top tune with good lyrics and a superb performance from Nina Persson (of The Cardigans) guesting on joint vocals

I couldn't sleep last night, so I loaded up my mp3 player with some Roy D. Mercer clips (some of the funniest prank phone calls you will ever hear, I am sure I am not the only one here who has heard of him) and lay awake in bed listening to them. Brought back memories of my young teen years when me and my friends use to crack up over those things. When I came to the pet hamster one I started laughing so hard I had to run out of the room so as not to wake up my wife.

Since prank phone calls aren't music, I will add that I have also been listening to Warren Zevon's album Life'll Kill Ya a lot lately for some reason.

Man, my first Who album, Quadrophenia was... classic, one of their best.

Yeah, those Roy D. Mercer call or priceless. I've gotten into Tom Mabe, I love the one where he convinces that telemarketer that he called a crime scene, just funny as hell.

I've started listening to a lot of psychobilly music lately, such as The Cramps, The Meteors, and Reverend Horton Heat.

Nanner, I don't know what kind of music you normally like, but you ought to give James Hand a try, he's true country, but his live shows really have a great rockabilly thump. Not psychobilly though.
