For Jedi, I’d like to see Lapti Nek re-instated, but reduced/minimized to more of a background element. Jabba’s palace overall could stand to be a bit less silly, I wonder if removing certain bits like Boba Fett flirting or the crying Rancor keeper could help that. Maybe trim Salacious Crumb a bit, he is both wacky and muppet-looking.

I’d prefer to see the original sarlaac, and of course if anything could be done to give Boba Fett a less lame death that would be huge. At the very least the sarlaac belching could be cut. Honestly, I’d rather see Fett cut out of the movie entirely than to go out like such a bitch.

I would cut Chewie’s Tarzan cry on Endor. Takes me out of the movie big time. I also seem to remember that when the shield generator explodes, it is an absolutely enormous explosion, engulfing the area where our heroes would presumably be. I could be wrong, but I just remember it being way too big.

Also I always felt that when the Emperor is zorching Luke, it takes Vader just a bit too long to step in. That could just be tighter and more dramatic. Also maybe some extra work on the lightning effects to make it clearer that Vader is getting blasted with a lethal dose, it always seemed odd to me that Luke could withstand like five minutes of that, but five seconds was enough to kill Darth Vader.
