I apply a poster edges effects to get a harsh outline onto the image, I take up the brightness to about 10 and the contrast to about 30, then put a cut-out filter over the whole thing, and get results like this:

I got it off a guide online somewhere, can't remember. It does produce a pretty good looking effect, but not as "drawn"-looking as the comic scans I've been finding.

It's hard finding art that matches comic to comic. I really like the image in the top corner I got going, but the other OT shots I found sifting through some of the graphic Star Wars novels don't match up in art style. I found rightous caps though, will post with more progress.
