According to lddb.com, The Amazing Spider-Man was only released on LD in Japan and the UK (and on CED in the US). Japan also had LD releases of the two sequels.

Is this information correct or is lddb.com incomplete? The UK disc is listed under "animation" which makes me think it's a cartoon series.
:: Edit - yes, it's almost certainly the 1967 "Spider-Man" cartoon series.

If anyone ever finds a US LD for sale I'll certainly consider getting it. The Japanese discs apparently have subtitles burned into the picture.
