Don't worry, should I ever come to Texas, I will definitely share my planned destinations with you, and should it be close to any of you cahoots (that word popped into my head, I have ZERO clue as to how though...) I will crash your place!

EDIT: And after checking out what it actually means, I cannot use the word "cahoot", I will use the word "queers", since you're definitely not steers...

Still love Shiner, but I've expanded my palate a little. Some buddies at work got me into Dos Equis, then another friend at work turned me onto Samuel Adams Boston Lager a couple weeks back, LOVED IT. So, today at the grocery store I had to pick up a twelve pack, plus a six pack of a "make your own". There is a huge grocery store a few miles away where they actually have a huge shelf (about 6'x8') full of single rows containing various beers, you can select one each of whatever you want and stick it in a six pack box they provide. Here's what I got:

(1) Samuel Adams Bosten Ale: Not as good as the Lager, but pretty good. Probably won't buy again.

(2) Red Stripe: Smooth, nice beer. Not much unlike Modelo Especial though.

(3) Saint Arnold Lawnmower: OK, knid of a pungent smell for a lackluster taste. Will not buy again.

(4) Sisyphus 2010: 10% ABV!!! Haven't tried yet as of this post. Porbably will before the end of this morning.

(5) La Fin Du Monde: Not drank yet.

(6) Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout: Not drank yet.

After hearing about it years ago, but sadly and appropriately never being able to find it, I stumbled upon Monty Python's Holy Grail Ale the other day. Definitely not my favorite beer, but the art and the words "Tempered over burning witches" on every bottle was more than worth the price alone.

I've branched out on beers so much over the last couple of years, it is really hard to even list the ones I really like. There is a bar within walking distance from my place that has some really amazing house beers on tap, when I am in the mood for beer one of those is usually the taste that comes to mind, and when I pull even one of my favorites from the fridge my taste buds are often disappointed that taste wasn't the one they got. Stupid bar. May have ruined beer drinking for me forever... Hmm, wonder if it is too early to zip over there and grab a couple of pints...

I don't drink much beer these days but when I do Belhaven 80 Shilling usually hits the spot for me.

Though I had a nice glass of this when I was visiting the folks down south.

It looks like a headless stout and smells and tastes like Lapsang Souchong ( I like Lapsang Souchong).

I'm a Leinenkugel's man myself.

However, if I'm at a bar, I'll usually go for a microbrew of some kind, usually a darker, stout beer.  If I'm broke (which happens a lot) I do love Labatt Blue.

twister is doing it WONG.

I like wheat beers the best.  Favorites are two Colorado beers - Sunshine Wheat from New Belgium Brewing Company (same place that makes Fat Tire) and East Street Wheat from Odell Brewing company (same place that makes 90 Shilling).

Oh, and from having lived in Texas for a short while, +1 on Shiner.

Get out of this thread unless you can show proper ID, Zig.

I'm not too sure if you're being serious or not, but that was hilarious.

I really mainly only drink the big ones. My favorites are corona light, busch,Heineken and Miller light. I know there are better beers out there, but they sell those cheaply where I work, its so convenient to just go clock out and pop over to the cooler and head straight home. I like Miller light lately. Used to like Budweiser but the’syrupiness’ has gotten old.

Stella Artois for the win. And a beer I’ve recently grown to love is Zombie Dust, in fact anything by 3 Floyds (Indiana brewery) has been pretty damn awesome.

Don’t do drugs, unless you’re with me.

You will learn to have better taste when you get older, hopefully.

Sierra Nevada pale ale and their torpedo. Two quality ipa’s that I’ve been hooked on for a good solid year now. It’s a tad pricey but well worth it.
