Both BE and RTJ are complete. Just got to send them away to be transcoded to NTSC then burn them and send them out to Miami.

Hmm, transcoding to NTSC is something I want/need to do with a couple of PAL discs I have, but it seems like you have to be some sort of genius with million dollar equipment to do it right. I've done a bit of searching around this forum and the FE forum, but didn't find much. (I probably just didn't look in the right places) Can anyone point me towards a reasonable solution?

Got Nero Suite? Nero Vision will do a decent basic transcode. Rip the main movie from the DVD with DVD Decrypter or DVD Shrink and then use Nero Vision on the VOBs to create a new DVD in NTSC. If you want to replicate the menus or want to get rid of the PAL speedup, then you need another method. On the NTSC version of Building Empire DVD, I didn't want to alter the soundtrack on the extras, since they were taken directly from CDs, so I just used Nero Vision. I got fancier with the main feature.

After the new versions have been transcoded, I will be making them available to you guys. The interestingly named M.U.F.F is not until march but I can't expect you to wait that long.

Cool. I do think you are better off using the bit budget toward the feature rather than the fancy menus and ROM extras. Did you actually keep all your raw stems or did you have to recreate it all?

I am not going to include the extras in this release. I do have all the "raw" items but I feel that the emphasis should be on the doco itself.

I now have to come up with "preferably a 25 word and a 75 word synopsis. Info on the Director, pictures. Also pictures/postcards/posters".

I've found and been able to download your fantastic work, but I've only found it in PAL format. Perchance is there a copy of the NTSC version hidden away on rapidshare that I haven't been able to locate? I found Returning to Jedi in NTSC and am looking forward to watching this as well.

It used to be up on Demon**d, but that site no longer exists. If you Google "buildingempire_ntsc" (in exactly that way but without the quotes), you will find multiple torr*nts that are still tracked by the Demon**d tracker. I was shocked how many people created torr*nts for it then just pointed it at the demon.

If you can't get it, then ask again and someone will help you out.

Hey Caligula, thanks for the tip. I've searched a wide array of t*rrent sites, and found the tracker, but there isn't anyone seeding it.
If anyone else can help me find somewhere to download this, it would be greatly appreciated.
