Ok, the 1982 audio is now in and the project, apart from some little improvements is done.

There is also the authoring and menu design etc to be completed of course. But I am going for basic.

How are you doing audio? Is it separate tracks (i.e., you can listen to either the 1982 track, the 1991 track, the 2007 track, or the workprint track), or is it just one? I'd vote for separate tracks if you haven't finalized it yet. (Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, I didn't notice it).

Yep, that's the intention. And space permitting I will have one track of all four playing at once.

Yes, please do try and squeeze in a combined audio track.
IMO the absence of combined audio was a fatal flaw of the V2 split-screen trilogy.

However, in practice you must take into account the “fuckwit factor”. Just talk to Darth Mallwalker…

Hey DJ, Yes, it is PAL. I won't be upping it anywhere I'm afraid. Never have, never will (apart from putting BE and RTJ on youtube). Torrents and Newsgroups aren't my thing. I will send it to the first four people who ask for it here and hope it spreads.

Doh! Just realised I made a mistake before rendering it. This is the sort of thing that happens when you have very little time to get things done. Oh well, it will be a Jan 2008 release now rather than Christmas 2007.

Everything is ready to go; menus etc. I just need to render the mpeg2 video for like twenty hours. I would normally encode DV then transcode to mpeg2 but I have run out of disc space.

I am re-transcoding the video to fix a silly problem that I hadn't noticed. That should take about 6 hours or so. Then I will transfer it to DVDSP and burn the disc. Should be done by tomorrow. I will then send out the four copies as promised. Please all confirm your postal addresses via email or PM.
