Windows Media Player works fine. You'll need a xvid codec though.

Adywan, I feel like a POS for pointing something out......please forgive me but

after Moff Tarkin finishes his dialog "then name the system" there is a quick shot to Leia then back to Moff and it looks like his mouth and throat are moving as if he is saying something but with nothing being heard....

What do you think?

Yeh, that shot bugged me.I did try to fix it but unfortunately the result wasn't good enough. I might give it another go once the rest of the work is done.

And BTW I only have a 2.1 system on my computer, the Cyber Acoustics 180w, and your audio sounds damn fine. It is so crystal clear, I crank it all the way up and when tatooine explodes so does my desk, my computer, the window in my office, my wife's and kids's ear drums......LOL this is too much fun. Thank you Adywan.

I'm pretty sure that blowing up Tatooine isn't part of my edit.
There's 30 mins left of the upload so shouldn't be too long now

Put it on the newsgroups, alot better than RS or megaupload.

I feel your pain on the uploading and then crapping out before you get the links, that has happened to me alot, but it has NOT happened to me ever since I started using rapid uploader.

Windows Media Player works fine. You'll need a xvid codec though.

How you do go about that then because (computer language) is a whole new learning ground for me every day. So do I have to reformat that coding on the file for Windows to read the file, is that what you’re saying.

Thanks.

Only the originals from the 70mm six-track Dolby stereo Dolby format 42 will sound better on DVD.

All you need to do is download the xvid codec. Google it.

Alternately, you can download a different media player like VLC, which can play nearly everything the internet can throw at you (except Realplayer, but who cares about Realplayer anyways).

A codec is simply a file used by your operating system to translate the code in a video file, into something your media player can read. If you just type xvid into Google then you should find all the info/files you need. Alternatively you could download VLC which is a media player that has most common codecs built into it. However, I run it on a Mac, and have heard VLC isn't as user friendly on a PC.
Hope that helps man.

EDIT: Tubes, I like how we both responded with almost identical responses at exactly the same time. Cheers Mate

Cheers mate I’ll try that out thou I was going to try KeepVid and upload that program and transfer the link over to KeepVid and then try and watch it.

Yeah I just visited one site but I haven’t committed the program to the computer has of yet, I’m waiting for adywan to solve the problem on his end because he’s removed the files from the thread for modification I think?

Yup, he's giving us mpeg-2 instead of xvids now.

Try out VLC. It's a good program for both Mac and Windows (and multiple Linux builds). Probably one of the best multipurpose media players on the 'net.

I re-encoded the first upload to play on PS3 and it looked pretty damned good! All the effects work aside, the color correction is what really stood out for me. This will certainly become the definitive version of Star Wars for me!

What about breaking it down into smaller segments? more hassles maybe but less tears if something goes wrong I'd assume. less wasted work / time.

Approx 260mb. I've had to split it into 3 files again (at least if only 1 fails then it isn't such a huge file to reupload again) it should only be about 35 mins left now

here's the first file:
Mos Eisley MPEG2 AC3 clip rar 1 - megaupload

adywan

I know is going sound dumb, but once I’ve clicked on the link how do I go about, watching it? Thanks
