I was looking at this set the other day. It looks pretty good. (take notice George) Does anyone know what the differences are between the 3 versions of the film? There is the Theatrical version, the Special Edition and the Director's cut with only a matter of minutes difference between the three. I own the 2001 2-disc director's cut DVD release. Is this new set worth it? Any input?
I would like to add that the Bluray set is FUCKING FANTASTIC,looks and sounds friggin great!
and I like the version marker to,it lets you see the differences between the cuts, very very nice set,and it was only $5 more than the standard DVD set. and if you get it at Walmart, you get an exclusive, the Motion Picture Soundtrack, like I said, very nice set.

The directors cut is still the best. It has all the improvements of the special edition but none of the drawbacks (ie stupid inside the mothership stuff).
