Battlestar Galactica Judgement Day ISO (Released)

Hello all…

I finally got around to uploading a DVD ISO format of the G1980 Return of Starbuck re-edit, which under it’s new title is called “Judgement Day.”

Just uploaded the torrent to www.demonoid.com, so if you go there and search “battlestar galactica” you should find it.

As a DVD ISO you will need to burn it to a DVD as a disk image, and then it should be able to play in a standard tv DVD player. This is a better quality than the previously released xvid avi that I put online before, but is of course larger in sice. Some 3 gig roughly. Since the original footage is from a VHS it is not the best looking source material, but I did try to get the FX a little more grainy to match the original footage.

Since this is larger, I ask that anyone who downloads the file, please try to keep it on to seed for others.

I’ll let this go for a while, then when the downloading dies down I’ll upload one of the others in an ISO disk image format.

All the best,

Dave

I know this is a very old thread but can any one provide me with quality versions of certain clips from this fan edit what I'm after is the sequence toward the end of the episode where Starbuck is walking toward a Cylon Raider in the desert followed by its take off away from the planet, I'm planning on doing my own fan edit of this great Galactica 80 episode, but I'm having difficulty with the sequence when Starbuck leaves the planet to rejoin the fleet, I don't know if these clips were specially created for the fan edit, I've tried scanning through my original Battlestar collection but can not find those clips.
I don't have a problem with editing pictures or sounds but have no experience with matting an image on the exsisting live material unless some one could help me with that and these two shots.

Galactica 1980 is coming out on DVD December 26, so the uncut episode should be on there.

One of the Galactica tv-movies spliced in most of the Starbuck episode. It was recut to make it look like Starbuck escapes in the homebrew Cylon/Viper ship.

I already have mine ordered, That is why iam preping this footage to re edit, the uncut version has all the Galactica 80 nonsense in it thats why I want to do a better fan edit than the previous poor quality one called Judgement day, the footage I want in higher quality is the above named ones or some ones know how, how to create with matting ect. the fan edit works much better with starbuck leaving the planet and joining the fleet, like mentioned no problem editing just never done matting of footage.

dkerin, if you're still around I'd like to ask: would you consider redoing these BSG edits of yours now that the Galactica '80 series is coming out (already out?) on DVD?
