I was concerned maybe that people had legitimate issues with the fan edits.

I like this guy.

No "completion date", but things are looking up now that our fourth has come back to us (and luckily, not as a Force ghost.)

It would help if I got a faster computer as well. My Pentium 4 is showing its age as I use more and more complex software and effects.

I commented on this a few months ago. With all of the fullest due respect, if you're ballsy enough to ask for money, you should be gracious enough to at least send thank you's. Just my opinion.

I know what you're saying Puggo, and it's partly my fault. What I hoped would happen when I initially set up the paypal account was that I'd receive notification emails every time someone made a donation. I don't think it's ever happened since I set it up though so I usually don't see the donations until either someone asks us if we got theirs or I go in to check the account. What I have done is made a list of everyone who has ever made a donation and those people will be getting something special when the time comes.

I really wish I had the time to work on this project at the moment but my film classes have taken up just about all my free time. Being one of maybe two or three sound guys in my class keeps me pretty busy as every director wants me to work on their film. I anticipate my workload dropping significantly in a couple weeks though after my production class ends.

I was wondering, since we are entering the HD era, if you guys are considering upsizing the captures to 720p and authoring it as an AVCHD DVD/HD-DVD or Blu-ray.

That's so far off in terms of the work we still have to do now, that it's not even on our radar. Let's hope ol' Jorje Lucas comes to his senses by then.

He's fine, but he's "in and out" even in our double-secret X0 threads (different site), so there's still a lot of back-and-forth going on.

And now, I've got to move my new components into my new case (It arrived days later, and I couldn't wait to try out the new stuff, so it's all in my old case right now.

I have such mixed feelings about this project....

While it is frustrating watching year after year go by with little or no updates, it is understandable....

I hope Laserman one day has the desire and strength to complete his part of this project, but sadly, now that its almost 2008 I have to be honest and say I not holding my breathe anymore....

I still think that the X0 project is or was the best chance of ever watching the OT to as close to the real thing as we'll ever get.....Good Luck X0 project. May the new year be a good one for the X0 team.
