Anyway, my mommy still has our old CED's. So hopefully in the near future I can find out what I need to fix our player (I think it's just one little tiny piece and maybe a new needle) and I can slap those puppies onto DVD's to preserve the Star Wars of my childhood in all its pan & scan, multiple-sided, 3% speed increased glory, complete with the Emperor's skip-induced speech impediment:
"Soon, the-rebel-wi-be-cru-an-youn-Sky-ker-ill-be-n-f-us." <-- I will try to fix that, but I can't make any promises. If I can't, it'll just be that much more amusing.
Incidently, Smurfs and the Magic Flute doesn't seem to be out on DVD, so I may as well DVD-itize that too for my daughter while I'm at it, plus we have this bizarre fairy tale CED called The Nightingale starring Mick Jagger.
