I even managed to hold out from buying a TV until this last August. My family had a TV when I was growing up, but when I moved off to college and was too poor to buy one, I found it was kind of nice not having the bloody thing blaring at me all the time. I made it seven years without a TV, only to have my friend give me his old PS2 which motivated me to go out and get one.

My wife and I are actually considering selling the horse and carriage and buying a car sometime soon, j/k
