Mark Hamill "ready to evacuate" his Malibu home.

I heard Mark Hamill's name mentioned last night among other celebrities who are ready to evacuate (or have already evacuated) their Malibu homes due to the fires. I know he's had close calls before, but hopefully his home will be spared again.

I hope that his LIFE will be spared. I hope for the best for all involved parties.

Screw his home, screw his life, I just hope his prestine, perfectly restored, personal viewing copies of the SW trilogy are in a pretty heafty fire proof vault.

Just kidding, I hope he is alright.

Of course!
That goes without saying!

I just had this weird vision of a badly burnt Mr. Hamill crawling out of his burnt home yelling "I HATE YOU!!"

I just imagine someone from this forum hearing this and saying

"But if the wind could blow the fire towards Malibu... that would lead it to his... home..."

Them driving up to his house, jumping out of their convertible

Running up to the front of whats left of his house...

"Mark?! Mark Hamil!"

::shot of his badly charred body lying outside of door::

They look away, wind blowing their hair...

::music swells::

::cut to Lucas Ranch::

Is it not sad that in this time, we are more surprised by acts of love than acts of hate?

This almost happened to his home once before in the mid-1990s. I remember seeing the news clip. At that time, his house was miraculously spared while his neighbors were burned out. I remember the cheesy newsline from the reporter, "For Mark Hamill, the actor who played Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars movies, the Force was with him."

Hamill was then in a quick interview on the site of his home saying, "Yesterday they had homes and now they have nothing."

I hope his home is spared.

Yes, his there is nothing left of his home. Though it was not in the path of the wild fires, seems to be an act of arson. There were bantha tracks at the site, and all evidence points to Tuskien raiders, but there are some people that have been speculating that it might actually be a government conspiracy, something about only Imperial Storm Troopers being so precise, and sandpeople normally walking single file while the tracks at the location of Mark's former house are scattered. Hope they find out who did it.

Just in the unlikely event that someone should think to take me seriously, all that was a bunch of crap and I honestly have no idea about the current situation of Mark's home, hopefully it is okay.

I remember this too. I was at work at the time, but when I came home, my Mom told me that she had seen him on CNN, standing outside his home talking about the fires.

I checked his official website, and so far there's no word on whether or not his house escaped destruction this time.

I read on OfficialPix last night that his home was not damaged in the fires. His family and possessions are all safe and sound.

Well, it is wonderful that he and his family are safe. That aside, I am glad his home is safe, partly from a human standpoint, but also from a Star Wars fan boy point of view. Can you imagine the Star Wars memorabilia that guy may have? I mean, I'm sure he don't have a house filled from one end to the other with Star Wars crap, but i'm sure he does have a few things which could be of great value right now, and in the future. Again, it's still good he is alright and his family is okay.

I know he has the original Luke-farmboy boots, but whether he keeps those in a safe-deposit box or at home I don't know.
