I agree with ADigitalMan on the Halloween "reimagining" (what Rob Zombie called it). The new version was a total pice of crap. I loved the original, but the remake sucks hide.

I'm not sure I never finished watching it. I rented The Shining and Frankenstein from Blockbuster.

Yeah, I am not a horror movie fan, but Halloween has always been a movie that has intrigued me precisly for that slight Hitchcockian feeling. I haven't even bothered considering the possibility of seeing the new film. From what I have heard Rob Zombie just took the character and turned him into a Jason/Freddy/Leatherface esque slasher flick monster, when before I felt there was a lot more to him than that.

Speaking of movies for the Halloween season, wasn't Bruce Campbell's My Name is Bruce suppose to be out in October of 2007? I even looked at his official website and it still says Oct. 2007, but no exact date. Anybody know what the deal is with this? I am assuming by the fact that I have not heard anything new about it that it wont be around for a while yet.
