The problem with Coppola's quote about Star Wars robbing us of a great director, is that he seems to forget that Lucas hates directing! After 1977, he probably would have just disappeared like Terence Malick or something. So I don't think we were really robbed of anything, we got 5 more movies as gravy. And I bet it would be surprisingly easy to ignore one or all of them if he ever puts out a disc of SW 77 that looks equal to motherfucking Delta Force 2. I can watch Godfather I and never think about III, or the Godfather videogame, or the new spinoff novels. Star Wars will be no different if the movie is ever treated right. But, if the only way I could watch Godfather I was on a cruddy streched laserdisc from 1993 OR a new version with Andy Garcia and Sofia Coppola pasted into it, that would be a lot harder.

Uh, Oh yeah, this TV show will suck harder than Cop Rock.
