I've yet to use a third party controller that's as good as the original. What I don't understand is why they bother to change anything to start with. Why do so man PS2 third party controllers, for example, have an 8-Way D-pad instead of the four-way D-Buttons of the standard Dual Shock? It makes no sense to me whatsoever. 8-Way D-Pads are are terrible if you need precision and aren't any good for 3D when you have a joystick.
