Can you imagine if George got his hands on this edit (not that it's unlikely he wouldn't in some form or other)? The amount of work that's been done only enhances and improves the special editions no end. The colours are now vibrant, the effects look less clunky and the whole thing seems less 1970s and more 21st century. That brief clip of the Death Star battle only goes to show how limited George was in his attempt to 'improve' things. Rather than having two stabs at integrating Jabba the Hutt (and making Greedo's scene seem superfluous), I'd rather GL did what Ady has done...this will be THE fan edit to have bar none - not even if GL actually felt shamed enough to make a proper go of his 'definitive' editions!
