Turns out that Mr.Kurtz will be at C4 (in LA next week)

Although it doesn't seem that he is involved w/ any of the 'SW' Prgms.
Just as the Producer of this film during it's 2 sessions (below)

Unless he shows up as a surprise guest w/ any one of these guys: Irvin Kershner, Ben Burtt, Howard Kazanjian, Robert Watts, Richard Edlund, Dennis Muren, Norman Reynolds, Dennis Muren, Ken Ralston, and Phil Tippett who are all doing Programming individually or in groups


Friday - 4:30 – 7:00 pm
5/25/77 - Special Sneak Preview with writer/director Patrick Read Johnson
and producer Gary Kurtz. Star Wars has changed many lives, and Patrick
Johnson’s is one of the most “cinematic” examples. Johnson and Kurtz, who
has a long history with George Lucas and the Star Wars movies, will present a
special sneak preview especially for fans at Celebration IV

unfortunately I only remember The Making of the Empire Strikes Back that broadcast on a Friday evening which made me want to leave my Nan's house early.

But, the wallpaper behind Fisher:

My parents told me that when they moved into the house where I would grow up, there was Star Wars wallpaper on the walls. I had never seen such wallpaper before now. So ... neat.

It certainly does sound like the PARBOT stuff, doesn't it!!

Perhaps the guy who bought it might be able to do a trade with you of some kind. Have you contacted him via ebay?

Just to let you all know that I contacted the guy selling this 16mm Making of ESB. Luckily he had another print, which I purchased from him.

Sadly it's only SPFX but a great find nonetheless.

The search continues. Though, the more I look, the more I think this was never broadcast.

If you're talking the Big Three, you'd probably mean the ones here in the Buffalo area - WGRZ2 (NBC), WIVB4 (CBS) and WKBW7 (ABC)?

Rok, regarding that Hamill clip in TeleBingo (Mies Bouwman) , I wonder if this friend of yours is willing to give you a good VHS recording and afterwards an upload from you ; that should be wonderful ; I think this will bring back fond memories from back all those years ago (seems a lifetime) ; I live in Belgium and remember some of the guest appearances from then on Belgian and Dutch TV (but who has these gems on VHS ; surely no VHS tape has survived this long!!) ; I will keep an eye out for any of these clips/docus ; cheers, P

Hi, need some more obscure stuff like this ; Jim 'll fix it (visit to Dagobah) - the Risk Business - Clapperboard - ... all 3 mini docus were from the ESB era ; can someone upload/post these once more (Rapidshare) ? some links were dead last time (please seed) ; much appreciated ; PS Rok, if you are still following this thread - do some re-uploading plz...
