STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION — Page 78

Just wanted to give some speculation on your very important question on what might happen if someone tries to claim this edit as their own. Usually jerks like that stick their neck out there, get noticed and get prosecuted for copyright infringement. Anyone who is staying "under the radar" and still trying to steal Ady's thunder will simply get flamed by someone who knows better, I would hope. Ultimately, there's not much anyone can do about credit thieves....sadly. I do think we should be sure to have a coordinated effort after Ady is done to troll other message boards and sites that are talking about it just to make sure a legitimate voice can quell any fraudulent claims. This already happened once on YouTube....
I am officially declaring myself a member of "The Adywan Entourage" and will act in his best interests after Revisited is released.

He He. I've got myself an entourage.
i'm thinking of setting up a live Q & A session later this week through msn messenger if anyone is interested. I think it could be quite fun. If you want to join in then just create a hotmail account that uses your OT name ( so i know who you are) and add me using my "adywan at hotmail dot co dot uk" account ( just change the "at" & "dot" for the relevant symbols). i will the accept you as a friend and post the details of the times and date here in the forum in a few days. it will probably take place this Thursday at about 12am GMT (so it will actually be Friday morning here but its easier to say Thursday for all you guys overseas). If i get enough interest in the next few days then i will set it all up.

At the risk of sounding like yet another echo, take however long you need to do what's left on the edit.

Ha, maybe someone here could make a logo, incorporating the Grateful Dead's, and that could be our standard.
I too would like to say please, please adywan don't rush yourself on completing your edit by some self appointed release date. I've said this many times to you so forgive me for repeating it. I would rather have your edit be done right than done fast. If that means pushing back the release date until after the New Year that's fine, don't press yourself too hard. Relax, take a deep breath, and take all the time you need to finish your edit the right way. We all appreciate your effort and dedication, ady, and no one is breathing done your neck or demanding anything. Later bud.

The background as it stands is totally black and matting out the cockpit where no information exists & then tracking its motion for the matte is bloody difficult.
suggestion for this.
if I'm right, I think the other cockpit shots which DO feature the trench rushing by are from the same camera angle.
so, instead of making it hard to mask, you can use the other shots to establish a seperate mask for the cockpit frames you can't see at the back of the cockpit. then you can use the foreground cockpit frames that are visible to keep the whole mask lined up right. might make it a bit easier.

I really like "Anchorheads". I think thats the one to go with
i think there has been some misunderstanding here. All i meant is that the release date may have to be pushed back a bit. i won't be rushing to get this finished as i want this to be the best i can do so don't worry on that part.

i did try this but it only helps for a couple of the shot and only for the first frame. The cockpit shots vary quite a bit and the movement is mainly the thing that is causing the problems. How do you track something that doesn't exist? It's a pain in the ass but i'm getting there slowly
Well so far only 3 people have signed up for the Q & A but hopefully more will before Thursday. Is the time factor a problem for most? if it is then please suggest a timeframe ( in GMT time please) that would be better for the majority and i can sort something out.
