Ady, once again your eye for perfection is admirable but I must echo the statements of others - I see nothing wrong or off-color about the improved trench shot - I think the color looks worlds better than the DVD and you should take all the time you need doing these shots right - I believe that if you take away the pressure of the deadline you will be able to breathe easier and the shots will turn out better - I also firmly believe that with your work ethic, it won't be too much longer past November, and if you're really worried about making the November deadline, how about a compromise:

When the November deadline hits, just release a video clip from the edit in celebration if it bothers you that much. I highly doubt you'll be too much farther away from the goal line. I think I speak for everyone here when I say that we want you to feel it is right, not that it is on time. Let's face it, everyone here waited 16 stupid years for Episode I and it turned out to be a nightmare - Maybe Lucas should have released a few screenshots and video clips like you have to give everyone a chance for input - Your work speaks for itself. We can be patient and wait a few more weeks. If you hadn't come along, we'd be waiting for a corrected Star Wars for all eternity...
