I don't think I've ever downloaded a release as an ISO. Always the folders with the files. It takes a while to compile them into an ISO before I can watch them.... I think releases as ISOs is a great idea. According to a survey in 2006 only about 2% of machines were running windows 98. And that was a year ago. And really, how many computers running that system have DVD burners?

I think this is just crazy. It's like complaining that the new Intel Macs wont boot up into OS 7 or something like that. If you're so into these releases you'll make a partition for WinXP. And don't lie to yourself. Win98 is probably more vulnerable to virus attacks. Its still windows, it can still get infected.
