I can't believe nobody's heard of this version before. It's sort of famous -- the "Jei Wea laserdisc". I've had a VHS bootleg of it for eight years.

As for transferring the data off it -- thanks for the tip! In addition to the stuff you mentioned, though, I'll also need a Laserdisc player... :-/
