Regardless of it being "real" it is still an iconic movie piece and part of cultural history.
Of course this is coming from a prop collector so I would say that.
And just for clarity the piece in question is the Obi-Wan ANH/Luke ROTJ shared stunt saber so has more significance to me at least.
