The cynical part of me begs you to remember, "the happy fan is the fan who has everything he or she needs." You could at least give them the idea that you'll go back to buying something at all Star Wars related after you have the remastered movies.

If I get the remastered movies, I WILL buy other things; just not until then. If I DID get that, there are all kinds of things that I would love to buy.

why do you make an exception for Indy IV

To be honest, mostly for social reasons; it'll be a great movie to see going out with friends, etc. and it does relate to Star Wars quite as directly.
