Nope. I alraedy have them, but I will put these on my site. Not on the DVD set... I think. I will consider it, but I don't think I will do it. There are many more references to the Terminator movies in other movies (trust me, I have already gathered a lot of them).

Still thanks for the info.

2 updates on this project:
- a cool 4:26 featurette has been added to the videos.
- I'm working on the T23D DVD. The problems are the DVD menu's. I want them to be cool and fitting, yet I don't know what I should design.
- Right now I'm also waiting for some recordings from the themepark from someone on another forum.

Anyway, to keep you interested while I'm working my ass of on this project, here are some screenshots of the opening of Terminator 2 3D at Universal Studios Hollywood. Yeah, that's Arnold Schwarzenegger with George Thorogood & The Destroyers, who had just played Bad To The Bone. Last pics are Arnold giving a speech, while Edward Furlong, Stan Winston and George Thorogood join him on stage.

maurice2029, have you thought ofusing menu templates from original terminator DVD releases? (You'd just need to do some photoshoping and adjsut your layout in DVD producing software). This way you'd preserve the look of official releases

klokwerk, in Last Action Hero T-1000 appears briefly at the front gate of the police station (Sharon Stone's character from Basic instinct is there too).

maurice2029, this looks awesome! Can't wait to see it! Do you any idea as to how you're going to distribute it?

Yep, I have thought about using menu's of the T2 Ultimate Edition DVD. However, have you seen the teaser I posted? The Endoskeleton head becomes the main menu. So I'm still trying to come up with something nice as menu, but right now it's just a black screen with blue font.

Depends about which monitors you are talking?
- The monitors in the queue area? Nope, or at least not much. I have some footage of it, and might get some more from someone else (that's why this project has been slightly delayed, I will get some stuff in August).
- The pre-show? Yes, that's included.

Here two screens of the DVD about the T-70 units:

Page 2:

I'm still not sure about the black background. I want it to be something spectacular, but it's not easy.

Edit:
Not to change it is the most easiest way, plus it fits with the main menu:

Nice and simple is okay. That looks fine to me. Will be cool once this is done. You are to be commended on gathering all this stuff together. I would suggest burning a DVD-R (or a couple?) with the menu files and DVDLab project files, etc. So that if you manage to uncover some more stuff, or some of the current contents in better quality, that you or someone else could easily create a "version 2". I do that with all my projects and it has proven useful in the past.

Hehe, I'm not sure if I will do a version 2.0. Right after this T23D DVD, I will immediately start working on the discs for T1 and T2. There's no time for a version 2.0.

maurice2029,

I THINK I have a commercial for T-2 cups at Subway resturants. I'll check the tape to see if it's on there. Also, I have a Guns 'N' Roses bootleg video of the concert where the live portions of the 'You Could Be Mine' video were filmed. It is audience shot, not the greatest quality, but would be great for full preservation purposes (maybe a MUSIC sub-menu).

And being a big nerd when I was younger, I have the complete set of Topps T2 stickers.
there was also another set made by Impel, and a set made for T3, they can all be bought pretty cheaply here:

I have that video too, I actually didn't post a new content list of T2 because not much people reacted on it, only on T23D.
It was recorded in the Ritz 1991. It's a bad cam, slash gives a nice speech that it's for the Terminator 2 soundtrack, but a large part of You Could Be Mine is just blackness (someone's back?). But I'm including it perhaps, depends on the disc space. Anyway, I have that CAM bootleg on DVD, and it was already part of my plans.

Wow, I have never seen these spots (probably because I became fan around 1996/1997, several years after 1991's T2). Thank you soo much for sharing, they will be included!

The bonus discs I have in mind for T1 and T2 are just additional discs to the already existing Terminator DVD's. However, due to some re-releases and for example the Extreme Edition has never been released in Europe, I am considering to include some of the other materials into these discs. One might say: "hey, all these Japanese trailers were already present on our Ultimate Edition DVD." That's right, but only on the region 1 Ultimate Edition DVD. All the other region releases don't have these Japanese trailers.

Plus ofcourse some stuff that should have been on the official discs. Like Guns N' Roses - You Could Be Mine. Man, I really missed that feature on the official T2 disc. Due to licensing problems they could not include it. So here it is for a fan preservation or special edition. Or the 1984 making of featurette of T1. It was a missing featurette on the official T1 disc. So I am trying to complete them with these additional discs!

I hope you include the Terminator E! True Hollywood Story as I'd like to have that on the set. Oh and any updates on the project by any chance?

I am planning to include Terminator E! True Hollywood Story on the T1 bonus disc, just as long as it will fit on it (or perhaps as a 2 disc version). But trust me, it will be included!!

Any updates? Not really I think. I had a lot of other stuff to do last days. The only update is the T23D project. I registered myself on a paysite and received some videos of the queue area in Universal Studios Florida, which is cool. Also got an old CNN report about Universal Studios Hollywood's T23D, yet it's a very small clip, so when I will convert it to fullscreen format, it will be messy like count the pixels. Yet I'm thinking of just including it.

Plus I found a shitload of more cool photos that I'm going to include. However, I already created the menuscreens for these subjects, so I have to re-do certain things. But it will be worth it.

Just playing around with the next idea (which could be executed after my other Terminator dvd's):

Right now, I'm recording cutscenes from the game Terminator: Dawn Of Fate. I also recorded the first complete 2 levels in 50 minutes. That got me thinking. I want the cutscenes, so I have to play the game completely. What if I would record the remaining levels also, and somehow put them on DVD or so (would perhaps require 3 DVD's or so), is there anyone who will be interested in getting "this movie"? "This movie" would be basically me playing the game as complete as possible, plus every cutscene...

T-Hope,

I'm known as Magna13 on the other forum and I'm that Canadian who's keeping an eye open for you in case the alternate Canadian Tv version is shown again. Well, while searching on my Bell Express Vue monitor for anything Terminator-related, I came across the following documentary. Unfortunately, I do not have access to the channel presenting it but hopefully someone else in Canada can preserve it for you (and me as well :-) Here are the details I get when I hit "info":

CHANNEL: ACTN (channel 334 on Express Vue)

TITLE: Stuntdawgs

DESCRIPTION: The T-2 Motorcycle Jump Part 1. Stuntman Peter H. Kent recreates the famous motorcycle jump scene from “Terminator 2”. (Stereo)

The show is 30 minute long and will be on on the following dates/times:

Aug. 29th at 7 pm
Aug. 30th at 1:30 am
Aug 30th at 3 pm
Sept 1st at 8:30 pm
Sept 2nd at 11:30 am

No word yet on an obvious “Part 2”. I’ll keep you posted!
