I think Hayden would be much better if he wasn't so trapped by bad scripting/directing by Lucas. Hayden has proven himself in other films like Life as a House and whatnot. He's not a bad actor.

As for comparing the films. I feel TPM is far inferior to the OT as a whole. However, I do dig on AOTC and rank it above ROTJ, just not above ANH and ESB.
