Sorry but i can't find that clip on my PC. Hopefully it wasn't one that was lost after my PC problems because i wanted to add that in the special features part of the disc. Hopefully its on one of my backup discs somewhere.

On another note, the final trailer will be online within the next week or so.

It was my understanding that this scene has been significantly changed since to not include Jar-Jar - I hope this is still the case.

Sorry but unfortunately the whole scene has gone from the main movie. It may well be included as a extended scene for the special features unless i decide to release a SE a few years down the line with some new scenes .... oops, sorry. i went into George Lucas mode then

Oh and thanks Sluggo for posting that clip. it's been a long time since i watched that. Shame it had to go.

It really is too bad that this won't make it into the final version of the film. It's so cool. I really think it helps to link the PT with the OT, and for me thats always good. I understand your reasons for not including it though, that the destruction of alderaan should be as quick and sudden as possible. But I don't think that it actually slows down the sequence at all. Just my thought though.

When Windows Media player goes to play the Alderaan clip, all I get is the sound track...no pic...

It quickly flashes something about codex on the screen and goes right into the playing of the sounds only.

Can somebody help me?

LOL, how did I miss that the first time? It is very convincing, the only problem is Bail hasn't aged at all. It is very good, but I agree with Adywan's decision to only include it as an extra.
I wish I had a Kryptonite cross, because then you could keep both Dracula AND Superman away.

Try downloading a program called "GSpot" from here. Once it's installed, you can use the program to open the file in question, and it should tell you what codec(s) it requires to run. A quick Google search from there will then probably land you the missing codec(s).

The strange thing is the the other clips in this thread play ok...just this one doesn't...can it possibly use a different codex?

Hey, adywan, I don't expect you to give away all your surprises before you release this edit...but I was wondering...have you done anything to the trash compactor scene other than color correction? You could answer by simply saying 'yes' or 'no' ...or not at all!
