In keeping with the 10th amendment, the right to bear arms is explicitly spelled out in the Constitution, which by definition means it's not only a state issue. States can and should exercise some control over their firearms laws, but should not be able to ban their citizens from carrying them. Concealed carry reciprocity should be a codified federal law.


I had not thought about this in that way. Additionally, combined with the 4th amendment, I would have to say it already is law. As such, I stand corrected.

You're right on this one Rob. I don't fail as a Conservative though. I failed my constitutional knowledge.
