Did it ever occur to you that my answers had nothing to do with politics and everything to do with my personal opinion? I busted my ass to get where I am today. A good job, beautiful wife, nice car, house, one wonderful son (so far). Common sense tells me that if you want to get ahead in life, you work hard (go to school, get a job, get ahead), don't complain to much, and roll with the punches. Sacrifice is necessary as well. That means that if you can't afford the latest fashion or the new car because you need to pay rent, eat food, or pay tuition, that you go without. That means that you save money for a rainy day, so that when that unexpected car repair bill comes, instead of worrying if you can afford it, you've got the money to pay for it. Instead of taking that paycheck and blowing it on fun and entertainment, put it in savings and stay in. Yeah, it sucks, but your future depends on it.
I have gone without. I have made sacrifices. I live way below my means just so I don't have to worry about those things. I could probably buy a new car tomorrow, but it would mean a $400 car payment, plus higher insurance, for the next 5 years. I've already got a mortgage, I don't need more debt.
You think you know me because of a few questions you asked. You don't know a damn thing about me.
