What I like about this, is Obi-Wan's face says it all, with three different poses and faces. He expects Anakin to be right behind him after he jumps, surprised and scared when he realizes he isn't and he sees the pylon going over the edge, and then when Anakin doesn't make it, you can almost see him crying and saying, "oh anakin. How could you have allowed it to come to this"
"He betrayed and murdered your Father" Vader inside of Anakin allowed Anakin to murder/destory himself, so it's true, from a certain point of view. Obi-wan doesn't kill him, and therefore he doesn't lie to Luke.
(Disclaimer: I don't have a preference between this ending and the original limbs getting cut off, this was just really fun to try and make work. Still doesn't explain the Lightsaber, unless 1) Obi lied about it in the first place to get Luke off that Rock, possible 2) He gave an extra lightsaber to Padme, not likely 3) someone can rotoscope Anakin's saber to Red, and earlier in the movie Anakin gave his saber to Padme for his unborn child, most likely, but more work involved)
