Vernon got increasingly suspicious of Liz when she snapped at his every move.

Later an emotional Linda turned up at the Rovers asking to speak to Liz and told her that Derek was leaving her for another woman.

Liz couldn’t cope with the guilt and confessed to having an affair with Derek.

Meanwhile, Sally celebrated her 40th birthday…in the Rovers. Kevin gave a speech and a sung song as the dogs whined in the surrounding area.
