Watching your clip GoodMusician (great work by the way) has inspired me with the following idea:

What if during the duel, towards the end when Anakin and Obi-Wan are fighting vertically on that giant arm/bridge, Anakin's "death/demise" actually occurs by him falling over the lava waterfall while still clinging to the bridge?

What annoys me most about the choreography towards the end of the duel is mainly around this part as Obi-Wan leaps from the cable to that tiny floating repuslor sled only to be followed by an equally ridiculous jump from Anakin onto an even SMALLER repuslor sled (done fairly badly I think by way of the special effects).

What if instead following Obi off the bridge, Anakin doesn't make it in time and is taken over the edge of the lava waterfall along with the bridge as it plummets into the lava below?

What this means then, is that the duel ends right here, instead of progressing further to the banks of the lava river.

Using the audio from the river bank scene where Anakin is screaming in pain, layer this as the bridge goes over and I think it will be quite convincing. There's enough footage of Obi-Wan standing looking at the bridge as it goes over, cut to a few of his close up reaction shots from later in the film (ie the river bank scene) and with Anakin's screaming, I think audiences will get the idea.

It means we lose the whole Anakin lying on the river bank scene which has some great dialogue between him and Obi, but this could be used elsewhere in the duel.

After Obi gets back on board his ship and Palpatine comes to Mustafar, we then see Anakin lying by the lava river burned to a crisp and missing his arms and legs but the audience just assumes he's managed to crawl out of the lava and collapse on the slope.

And voila, we have the charred remains of former Jedi minus some awkward and poorly executed fight choreography.

What does everyone think?
