Really, a fan preservation from film (16mm’s pop up semi-regularly on eBay, and I have thought about it) would be a serious challenge… most of us don’t have access to the kind of ultra-high quality telecine equipment that George has.

Taking this quote from another thread (after my asking about it), I thought that if they DO pop up on e-bay that maybe someone oughta check it out. We can take the audio from the GOUT (or O4 mix… ugh…) and clean up the original film print. Granted it would not look as good as the ´04 DVDs, but there´s a chance it could look good. Anyone wanna pick one up, assuming it pops up on E-Bay again?

DISCLAIMER: I do not claim to know anything about any film format of this kind, OR claim to have a print. I am merely asking if someone has thought about doing such a preservation.
