Question about aspect ratios - Original Trilogy

Hi guys,

I'm looking a doing an extended edition of one of this years best movies so far (but its a secret) and was plannig to insert the deleted scenes back in via womble, but when I drag them into it the ratio is out.

Now, I dont know much about aspect rations, so instead, I've taken some screencaps, with a greensquare where the movie would be to show the difference:

whats the easist way to resize the deleetd scene without losing quality?

Looks like the deleted scene is letterboxed while the movie is anamorphic, am I right? You will need to crop off the top and bottom and resize to 720x480. I've never used Womble though so I couldn't tell you how to do it.
