Sorry Mitch but Highlander 2 was riddled with digital errors and is a project that will require huge amounts of time using the available sources. A demo disc of what I have done so far will be on its way to you. Sorry for any delay, but it can’t be helped. No fan edits are getting any attention by me at this time, as I am now in the process of moving out of my storm damaged home.
Last night I did a DVD test run of this project. I'm not happy with how the video re-encoded, so I am just going to have to go back to the master AVI files I made, and try this again.
This project will be done very soon, but I'll be sure that quality will not suffer just for a quick release.
I'm new to the forum and would LOVE to get my hands on a chronological edition of the Godfather Trilogy with the most possible footage (even for Part III). I have the official VHS edition of all 3 in Chronological order, but the quality is mediocre and I'm not sure if it has ALL the footage out there. I'd love to see it on DVD. My brother has I & II as the Complete Epic (again on VHS), and the additions were slightly different. Also, in the official DVD release the extra scenes contain credits to Part I with Kay at Church (like the book). I'd love to see that included. PLEASE let me know if this is edit still in progress. Thanks.

The official set is L A M E. All it did was include the deleted scenes as they are in the TV version (hence the credits). They couldn't have been more lazy.
My suggestion is to release the avi's or to look into kdvds (kwag video compression) and though i would seed all dvds till i got a ratio of at least 10:1 (if that many ppl would spend there time dling this) i dont think many other ppl would do the same. But I would love to have it, and the 3rd movie is an abomination imo but then again so are the sw prequels, but i still watch em lol so include em all or not, either way i want this, and im sure at least a few others do too, so a release would be nice if your not too busy, or send me the masters, I'll do up a nice kdvd release for you or send em to someone else willing to do sumthin similar so you can keep working on all those other wonderful projects of yours (cough PLANET OF THE APES!!!! cough).
Hello folks, I'm new to the forum and would really LUV to get my hands on a chronological edition of the Godfather Trilogy with the most possible footage (even for Part III). I got once the official VHS edition of "THE GODFATHER 1902 - 1959 The Complete Epic", but the quality is mediocre and I'm not sure if it has ALL the footage out there. I'd love to see it on DVD. In the official DVD release the extra scenes contain credits to Part I with Kay at Church (like the book). I'd love to see that included. PLEASE let me know if this is edit still in progress or the way to get it (via ordinary mail, torrent, irc or emule). Thanks a lot from the bottom of my heart. Plz dont disregard this post. Yours. John
The Godfather Saga is going to be airing on Bravo again next month. It's very rare to be caught. I think there might be a few things exclusive to it. I can't remember at this point.
I went to the Bravo website, though, and checked out their schedule for this month and next month and it seems like they're only playing Part I and Part II. Can you post a link to the info you saw?
Bravo ran the saga a few weeks back (Friday, June 8th, I think). It ran from about 5 pm to 2 am the next morning! I missed the first half hour, but otherwise, I caught the whole 9 hours. I can tell you that there were lots of commercials and some really annoyingly huge banner type ads during the airing, and for some reason it ran unadvertised (as in, it wasn't mentioned on any of the listings or even on the website). So keep a watch out for it in the future.

Thanks again.

I did actually manage to capture both parts in their entirety, but like it was said in another post on this thread, there are alot of ridiculously large banner ads during the movie... i did cut the commercials out though
Banner ads suck, but since there is no official DVD release of the chronological version, would you be willing to burn me a DVD-R of the Bravo TV Broadcast without the commercials? Thanks.
