You see the object fly towards the camera, you cut to Dooku, and then you see Anakin on the ground (implying that the object hit Anakin). It just doesn’t work well- it leaves you feeling cheated and makes it feel like a fan-edit. If Dooku hit Anakin with the object, you want to see the object hit him. At the very least you want to see Anakin fall to the ground. But the Anakin falling shot also contains the force lightning. It’s just not in the style to imply something as critical as that and not even show it. And yeah, the smoke is annoying, but if that’s the only continuity error, I can live with that."

Well, it still could be simliar...
-Dooku tears the object off of the wall (with yellow sparks and yellow electricity added) and throws it at Anakin.
-You see the object fly towards the camera (with a few trails of electricity added)
-You cut to Dooku
-You see Anakin fall to the ground with the object also falling, somewhat obscuring him, with trails of electricity(the force lightning that couldn't be removed could be tinted yellow).
-the smoke in the shot could be construde as dust from the object...?

Did that make sense?
I'll try again:
Try and remove all force lightning from the shot, but what can't be removed could be construde (if tinted yellow and/or white) as the electricity from the object.
Maybe?
