200 MB mpg > 200 MB avi - How?

What is a quick, easy and not-so-lossy way to convert a 200 MB mpg into a 200 MB avi? I used VirtualDub, but it gave me a 9 GB uncompressed monster.

Have you tried "AutoGK" - its easy to use and you can specify output file size. Not sure that its as quick as you would like. Outputs avi containing your choice of divx or xvid.
Also "SUPER©" looks quicker though the output filesize will depend on the settings you select. More choice of codecs.
