When I said format war, I meant between HD-DVD and Blu-Ray. And Blu-Ray has won it for a while now. HD-DVD will survive until Christmas if only because that represents the last sales stab to minimise losses but after that you'll see it being phased out. The question is, once that has happened and there's only Blu-Ray how much more willing will your average consumer be to give HD a chance now that there is a single, stable format?
