I just tried out Bits On Wheels and it works fine for me.

The only problem is I got quite spoiled on Windows and was used to being able to select the files I wanted to download, which would make getting the mono Rubber Soul a lot easier as the only place I can find it right now is buried in a huge torrent of all Dr. Ebbetts' Beatles releases (at least it claims to be such - it really isn't). I'd rather not download 8 gb of crap for the 300-500 mb I'll need.

I now have Toast 8.0.1, MacTheRipper 2.66, and MPEG Streamclip now as well. Thanks for your suggestions - it all works great. I'll have to get SheerVideo later at some point (at least the Intel version is cheaper than the UB version) - I'm getting FCS some time this week, much much cheaper than retail at my college's Apple store ($395 I believe).
