Adywan, maybe I am being parinoid, but maybe you should work on this project on a computer not hooked to the internet or an ethernet. This would stop anything bad being pumped into your computer.
My new Core2Duo machine is being used solely for this edit and isn't connected to the net. My old P4 is now being used just for surfing and all other PC things. I'm not taking any chances.

You know, I don't know why I have such good luck. I'm 26, and I've used computers at home for 10 years. In that time, I've never had a system failure and never had a significant virus/malware infection. Knock on wood.

The PC i use for this edit is on 24/7 so i guess things are going to wear out a lot quicker. God my electric bill has been horrendous since i started this edit, but it will be worth it in the end.
