ya know, at first, although i am a HUGE fan of dawn, i was only mildly interested in seeing a "composite" edit of this, but damn the lengths he went to to insert a few measly seconds... this is going to be an A+ project and i am totally excited for it now.

and after watching that demo a few more times, i dream of possibly seeing a making of this recreation possibly as a bonus feature? i would watch... but that would probably take forever

Oh, undoubtably. Not only is that kinda stuff interesting from a DAWN enthusiast's view, but from a purely technical one, too. I think it would be a great way to explain what sort of hurdles were encountered in making the cut and the innovative solutions taken to solve them. A nice way of promoting an appreciation of the project (not to mention CW's skills), also. I like the idea of someone from, say, Anchor Bay or a close associate of Romero getting ahold of this thing when its done and, instead of dismissing it as a curiosity, being confronted with the evidence, then actually going 'Wow' and recognizing its value.
And I'm still very much looking forward to See No Evil's interpretation, especially if his is to be more Romero-centric than CW's more Euro-centric version.

work through cleaning up the audio. As it stands, my version comes in about 40 or
so seconds longer than the german 'Ultimate Final Cut' DVD. Below you can see the

CW is working hard on his release for the UE box set. I'm quite happy to release
mine seperately with it(')s own cover & DVD menus and let his be the 5th disc. thats
what I thought I'd do originally anyway. If CW decides not to finish his then i will
rethink that if it happens.

How about someone goes through this IMDB list of DOTD references and make a montage of all the clips together. Especially stuff from video games and there's 3 different Simpsons episodes that mention it. Volume 5 - DOTD in Pop Culture
Also, how about a DVD cover that matches volumes 1-4 for the 2004 remake? That way the remake will look like simple bonus material for the original.

I went to him today and asked him about it and he just said "oh you know about that?",and told him about it,and finally I I went to his dvd collection and took them from him,and he looks to have closed the ioffer listing as it says "No longer available" and he called and said ok he closed it,but it won't come completely off ioffer. Anyone use it so I can tell him to delete it completely? I don't have a account there,and have no idea as how to help him. Thank God tho,that noone bought them.
