Anyone trying it? Saw it on AOTS last night. Downloaded it this afternoon. Nice so far. Need to learn how to customize it further. I like the private browsing feature.

Apple is brilliant at marketing, and this is a blatant attempt at selling Windows users on the Mac experience. Smart move.

What's funny is that many Mac users probably wouldn't rate Safari as the best browser for OS X. I use Camino myself.

Guess I'll download Safari on my Windows box here at work and play with it a bit.

Safari has usability problems on OS X. It asks for the keychain password far to often. A guy here at work that uses a Mac just uses FireFox. I know another lady that uses FireFox as well for the same reason.

Also, Safari on Windows has a pretty serious security hole that was found the day of release. I don't know the details, but it's apparently a big problem.

I wasn't aware of this. Thanks for the heads-up.
