One disappointment at the second last big car show I went to (International Auto Show in Toronto) was that that Ford 49 I mentioned earlier was going to be there...the day after I went. I was so excited to see the signs for it and so sad knowing I wouldn't get to see it. Did get to see the Ford Explorer woody, though. That thing was great!

I've been going to car shows ever since I could crawl. I know quite a bit about them.

Yeah, they did give me some great memories. There used to be this old style drive-in in north Dallas called Fenders, every Saturday nights they would have a really cool car show type thing, but really informal. My Dad and brothers would run up there and hang out for hours, on into at least 1-2 in the mornings. They would play 50's music and had neons everywhere. Those guys would roll through the lot in their cars, some would park. It was constantly rotating, cause some would leave and some would show up. That place closed down after only about 3-4 years of business, as I recall the only thing they did wrong was charge way too much for burgers and shakes, so they didn't sell much.
