The Sunburn Anti-Ship Missile

I had not heard of the Sunburn missile before. Could be big trouble. But, the rest of that article got a bit goofy in terms of attacking Israel as if it were equivalent with Iran. World opinion may be important in terms of intelligent strategy, but it should not rule over our ethical judgments.

You're not good as being sensible Arnie, not really good at all. At least that hardly matters on the internet.

Keep up the good work though, I guess.

Harrison Ford Has Pretty Much Given Up on His Son. Here's Why

Yes, there's a lot of speculation in the article. I only put it up because I thought not many had heard of this potential threat. Not because of world opinion, political views or the conclusion. I don't share them (well, maybe partially).

An interesting read, though as you and Tip point out lots of opinion and speculation. I think we (the U.S.) tend to very much underestimate the military capabilities of Russia, China, Syria, and Iran. Not a good thing.

I don't know if we (as in the government) necessarily underestimate them, but yes we (as in the people) do underestimate them quite a bit. I'm sure there is a secret base somewhere where some U.S. scientists have already devised a preventative measure for these things, if they are real. Thing is, you never know what the government may know, and the fact they keep it from us just to keep our spirits up. I was watching the History Channel a few weeks back and they were interviewing a former NSA or CIA agent, he stated something to the effect of that in his 32 years of service he personally knew of at least 10 instances where America was in direct and imminent danger of some sort of attack on a grand scale. However, somehow by either the skill of the agents involved or by luck, the events were derailed and everybody saved. He said if the public was made aware of those events at the time they were occurring, there would have been complete madness in the streets. Unfortunately, I cannot recall what show that was, cause I like to cite my references, but I can't remember what even the program was about, that statement just really stuck in my head.
