In this day and age? No one write a letter anymore unless it is an email. And, who knows if Lucasfilm will just ignore these letters and send them back? No, Lucas and Lucasfilm have trenched their feet in stone and refused to let the OOT be released ever agin to normal standards. It is his very goal to erase film history and make a propagandist version of the SW saga. Lucas considers the PT to be so superior to the OT that he gives just one film from the PT more or equal treatment to the entire OT, and the OT is now changed endlessly to conform to the BS found in the PT. If Lucas had done the PT right he would not continue the change the OT every few years and there would be an additional three films we would love. But he didn't. The only thing we can do now is how to cope with a dead dream and film history that has been erased forever. Bravo, Lucas.
