The problem with a release now is that it is usually announced by Lucas at this time of the year or earlier. The 2004 OT was announced in Feb 04 for a Sept Release, and the 2006 GOUT was announced in May for a Sept. Release. I know they like to give the distributors atleast 3 months beforehand for any major release for advertising, inventory, etc. I think nothing will happen this year, and I believe www.thedigitalbits.com that Lucas fears the market got flooded and that is why they are stepping back for a year or so and not releasing anything, although the real reason it didn't sell well last year cause it was crap quality.

I will say that the masses, or the casual fan will probably not buy an boxset in the future, cause most people unless they are diehards just don't like to double dip. The only fans that will be buying the Saga boxset will be OOT fans like us if it is remastered, and Saga fans who just eat up anything Lucas puts out. Now those are two pretty big fanbases, but I think Lucas knows the best selling DVD was always going to be the first one released, and I think he knows he is catering to the diehards now, and there isn't as much money in it as when you are selling to the masses.
