Internet explorer keeps closing down on my about every 5 minutes without warning. It's just a little window that appears that says "Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and must shut down".

Any thoughts, suggestions, or derragatory remarks?

Try scanning for spyware. Use Lavasoft's Ad-Aware. If you're using XP and you've changed anything recently try system roll-back if the scan doesn't do it.

The first thing out of my buddy's mouth was firefox. But still, I'd like it to be fixed. Trying ad-aware.

Looks like you've got yourself a good bit of spyware from all that porn you've been downloading.

It means it should be cleaned. Run a virus scan as well. Failing all that, go into your Control Panel, Internet Options. Click the Programs tab, then the Manage Add-ons button. Disable everything. Then open IE and re-enable them one at a time until you find the one that's causing the problem. Then either leave it disabled or uninstall it.
